North America Chinese Education Foundation has dedicated itself to promoting higher education in the Chinese American community and expanding educational opportunity for children who would otherwise be left behind. From Project Hope to modern research.

1998

NACEF is founded and launches Project Hope fundraising in North America.

The organization begins at Stanford University and quickly mobilizes support from student associations and community groups across 33 universities.

2000–2002

Hope School visits and direct donations deepen the mission.

Leaders and supporters visit school sites in Hubei, contribute to school construction, and support Hope School donations through public ceremonies and direct giving.

2003–2005

Exchange and English teaching expand NACEF’s reach.

An America–China Student Exchange program is launched, followed by an English Teaching Program in China that connects education with cultural understanding.

2020–present

The mission evolves into science education and senior health innovation.

NACEF adds youth bioinformatics, senior COVID-19 education, and research on AI applications for senior health management.
